Pretty like this place vibe, cozy and aesthetic, combination of wood, glass, steel and bricks. Ordered their affogato and walnut carrot cake, tasted good and worth for a try. Hojicha, creamy texture with roasted tea flavor also a good choice. Just the waffles series quite average as the flour preposition is high, causing the tough dough and intense flour favor, baking soda also over a bit and tasted subtle bitterness. Refinement needs to be done over the batter ratio. Second shortcoming of this cafe is the limited car parks along the street, would be recommended to take a street walk while visiting this place.

Came back for my favourite croffle! It’s waffle in croissant texture 🧇🥐We ordered the TEMU signature (croffle with ice cream) to share and it was so good we end up ordering another one haha! By far this is the best “waffle and ice cream” I have come across in Penang - simple and nice 😋 (and yes I am a croissant fan so all the more I’m in love with this haha!)This review is only based on croffle which was the only item we ordered.

We decided to check this nice small cafe in Georgetown, Penang.It's a cafe for someone who is not in a rush.We were lucky and early so there wasn't anyone else and we had the whole place to ourselves!The moment we entered, the strong coffee aroma perks us up instantly and their coffee and hot chocolate were good too! ☕

It’s a well utilised and an interestingly designed tiny cafe. The coffee wall is full of cool equipment. It has limited space but it’s always good to call them and reserved your seat in advance. Try iced latte with oat milk, it’s so good!

Coffee specialist in town. They serve coffee and non-caffeine drinks in a cocktail way. Fancy and delicious. Taken into liking their seasalt mocha, dirty latte and The Awakening. They also serve Omakase (RM48). The Barista were friendly and professional-looking. Environment cosy, cold, modern and renovated in a way that looks like a pub. A few branches around the island, each with distinguished interior. Quite costly but quality is there.

Coffee lovers should not miss this place.Especially those who like it black.Ask their friendly baristas for specialty coffee beans available, and try their hand brew drip coffee. 😍😍😍Wonderful cuppa.Tried a few breakfast items too. Nice food.But be aware that, lunch menu is only available after 12noon.Besides that, carpark can be a problem.They do provide free carpark but are relatively limited compared to the seats available in the Cafe.Definitely worth a try.

26/6/2022: Can't believe it's been 4 years since i last came. Place is still huge, with good crowd, but not too noisy. Tables are a good distance apart, so i guess a conversational lunch would be highly suitable. Had the pork burger and smoked salmon croissant... All great bite. Sweet potato fries was excellent. Ordering is via QR code on each table. Menus seems to be quite comprehensive compared to then.

A nice cup of iced rose latte but nothing too extraordinary. Same goes with the pork burger: Delicious but I'd expect more for that price (very high side). The sweet potato fries is a nice surprise though.Generally not too crowded (Sat 3-5pm). They have a number of seatings that are far apart from each other. The customer service can do with a bit of upgrade to match with the shop's reputation.

Love this place. Best coffee I have found in Penang. Excellent cakes, baked fresh on-site throughout the day. The staff are very friendly and kind. Chill and relaxing vibe.Only downside is one hour limit on the tables, but it is understandable due to their popularity and limited space. And they are chill about it - the limit isn't enforced if they don't have to do so because of waiting patrons.100% recommend. A must visit destination.

Turn into Lorong Toh Aka and slow down your vehicle as you might just drive pass it without noticing. The first shop at your left hand side, entrance full of greens and pots and a coffee table.Sipping a cup of coffee at Ome by Spacebar is a very mind calming and relaxing experience.Ordered a cup of latte, Chinese tea and a pastry baked with zucchini and olive. All were good especially the pound cake, which comes with a splash of sourish white cream.Environment wise is cozy. Space is limited. Suitable for smaller group and lone ranger. Price is reasonable. They are also selling some merchandise.

Good selection of food & beverages with nicely designed environment.However staff would need to be more conscientious when serving, not simply leaving non ordered food on one’s table while they check if it’s correct or for another table. Also to check that dishes are clean prior to using to serve, One coffee we ordered had clear lipstick marks on the cup 🤷🏻🤦🏻

If you're looking for chill vibe away from lunch hours or a place to take good photos. This place worth considering. The overall design of the cafe and the friendliness and attentive if the staffs make this place very cosy. Can't give full 5 stars as I didn't order the main course. But there is a good varieties of cakes and beverages. I personally think the price might be a little pricy for the local but who am I to say. I feel that overall it worth making the trip here and get some good vibes.

Ordered a cafe latte. Instead of fresh beans from the grinder, the barista made my latte from beans that already been ground and put in a milk jug that no one knows for how long.The taste cannot lie, It tastes bad. When i asked why he did that, he argued about it to say that nothing is wrong with it.Ordered an extra cup and i made sure the barista use the fresh beans from coffee grinder this time. The coffee taste alright. Big different with the first one.I want to hear the sound of the coffee grinder because i want my coffee fresh. And you failed to do it on my first cup.

I ordered snow blake coffee (new wave beans) . The taste was good. The coffee really looks like a stout with the foam on top. The environment was cozy but the ground level was quite small.

We love this cafe and we’re here 3 times in two days. We just love the concrete interior with greenery style. The coffee drinks were great and you can see the staff working diligent to ensure quality of every drink.

One fine place to chit chat and enjoy good food. They serve various main courses, desserts and drinks. Their menu is rather distinctive, a common dish could be presented in a quirky way. Chicken Karaage Burger, Smoked Salmon, and Pulled Pork are highly recommended. Dessert wise their brownie was pleasing. Commodious, decorated with plants and pebbles. Hipster no doubt.

I came here for their coffee. The staffs are very friendly, and they really know their stuffs well. I came here the first time trying the super sonic, probably not very suitable for me. It has that tangerine smell which is too overpowering. Towards the end.. I got used to it.. but probably will never order it anymore. I tried the coconut coffee latte the second time and it is now my favourite. Hahaha. The coconut scent complements the coffee very nicely. The coffee fragrance is nice. Bitterness and sweetness are balanced well. Ambiance is nice too. Will revisit.

Small cabin and yet cozy. Good for lepak2. Staff were friendly and this place owned by muslim. Ordered mocha, cappucino and victoria sandwich cake. My very first time tried the victorian cake. Omg not gonna lie, the cake taste soooooo nice!! Not too sweet, sponge cake just fluffy nice and ‘kiap’ with some strawberry jam at the middle. Soooo niceeee 🤤 10/10! As for mocha imo the price,cup size and taste are worthy! 9/10

An epitome of coffee culture in Penang. Nice interior with cozy ambiance - a suitable setting for both relaxing and socialising sessions. Menu prices are within acceptable range. Not too expensive considering its prime location and high quality offerings.It was my first time here but I did not order coffee though. Had Earl Grey Supreme instead, and as the name suggests, Supreme it was indeed. Keen to visit and try their coffee or juices and desserts next time. Staffs were also friendly and did not hesitate to explain the menu.

Photos are all from previous regular visits. CG serves the BEST hot chocolate imo - right texture, consistency, thickness, without sugar. Still haven’t found another place that serves better hot chocolate. Coffee is great too - boss of the place is very serious & passionate about the biz. Staff are all very friendly & nice. Nothing to complain really 😂

Serious coffee, relaxed, approachable atmosphere.Reframe is an unassuming cafe, and from the outside you would not expect to see some of the best beans from around the world and the same level of equipment to brew it.Make no mistake, Reframe is not your typical cafe. It is a specialty coffee shop and roaster. You get what you pay for and their prices are reasonable for the product quality and service you receive.Though despite the serious coffee beans and equipment, the staff and owner really make you feel comfortable and are very warm and friendly even to those new to coffee.I would highly recommend Reframe to anyone who is looking to try high quality speciality coffee while at the cafe or order their in-house roasted beans.

Ex specialty barista here.The coffee is amazing. I have been trying local coffee shops around Penang for quite some time. Most of the time I will find local coffee shops that serve coffee using specialty coffee beans.It is safe to say that this cafe served one of the best iced black that I have ever tried. Love the ambiance too. Please support local coffee shops!Additional note: They sell coffee beans online and in retail. So go and check it out!
